ganguro hands down. it was bigger a couple years back and it's calmed down a lot thankfully. it was too much make-up with some super dark tan if people went that far. some people just used make-up to make themselves look darker and then they'd use white around their eyes and for their lips? sometimes they'd put stickers on their face? and their clothes were all neon colors. they'd crimp their hair...you don't even know what that is. it's like...you wave your hair in sort of zig zags. trust me, it's stupid.

it's basically gone and it should stay gone and i won't let it come back. i hope it rots in its grave. there's tacky and then there's ganguro.

[ Hikaru's one of, like, two or three people who can consistently get Zuko laughing, and uh, this is one of those special occasions. What the absolute fuck. Zuko's world has nothing like this. Nothing. Hikaru's world... ...Zuko has a very bad impression about the aesthetics there, from everything he's seen and heard. The made-up women in porn, the Rococo cake dresses, juicy pants, this... Hikaru seems chicer by the second, not that Zuko's ever really cared about that, but uh, put in perspective like this, with such a poorly informed frame, it at least reflects quite well on the young fashionisto in Zuko's eyes. Bravo, Hikaru. Bravo for not... dressing like a maniac. ]
